My passion is most any form of fine art 3-d or 2-d. I currently work with clay, concrete, printmaking and acrylics.
Satisfying the need to work with sculpture, I make free form pots or sculptures using clay. When the need to do subtractive work over takes me, I get out the concrete and carve away the extra to find the jewel inside.
I attended Arrowhead High School, in Hartland Wisconsin and then Northland College in Ashland Wisconsin where I was awarded a BA in Fine Arts and Business. With my Air Force husband and family, I lived in different areas of the United States and for a few years in The Netherlands. We finally moved to Fort Walton Beach about 20 years ago. I was the director of the Arts and Design Society from 1995 to 2009. During this time and to this day, I have taught classes in clay to adults and children as well as entered art shows and exhibits, where sometimes I get lucky and receive an award.
